The bridge at the Inver Mallie cottage is now demolished. However, a much improved track bypasses the cottage to a new bridge across the River Mollie 800 metres to the west. This allows the use of a cycle to the highest point of the road at NN090873 where an all-terrain track heads north crossing Druim na Guibsaich, from where you can strike west to the summit.
