I can inform you that my Marilyn total increased by exactly 100 in 2011. It was reported in the last edition as being 427, but I subsequently found that that did not include seven Corbetts bagged in 1992 but did include two hills which, on reflection, I cannot claim with sufficient confidence to have summited.
I did not quite set foot outside Scotland in 2011, so my totals for England, Wales and IOM remain unchanged. The best view of the year was the sunset from Hart Fell with Cumbria and the Isle of Man in sight on an evening in July. Thanks to all those who helped to get me to some awkward summits on and off Lewis and Harris, and to Mark Trengove and others for sharing several other summits with me.
