A trip to Staoineag bothy in April, to bag Creag Ghuanach and Beinn na Cloiche. On the way out we met Anne Bunn and party at Creaguaineach Lodge.

Meall Mor from Inverlochlaraig. Long walk in, stream crossing in spate, and then an interminable steep slope. At least it was better than from Loch Katrine where we had failed the previous week because of rain and an even steeper slope.
Finally getting my Humps list up to date. I still do not know whether I have been to the highest point of Lindley Moor despite over forty years living near Ilkley. Anyway my Humps total was only 971 at the end of 2012.
There are two kinds of climbers, those who climb because their heart sings when they're in the mountains, and all the rest.
