Green Day

Colin Green (+25=727)

The year only started in April, with a week based in Tomintoul. A couple of nice linear walks gathered in Carn Mor with Carn Ealasaid and then Cook's Cairn with Corryhabbie Hill. The Hills of Cromdale will not be forgotten in a hurry, as I cut my heels up with a newish pair of boots. In October I had a week based in Fort Augustus. Carn a'Chuilinn gave the best day during a gloomy week, only memorable (good company excepted) for the amount of water on the hill and falling from the sky. The year's best bag was Myarth (AD: that's a rarely-heard phrase), collected on a truly miserable wet and windy day in November when even the most conscientious GOMLs were in front of the fire, which was where I ought to have been.
