Quite a productive year by my standards. I finally managed to get my Graham total over 200 and, with luck, could finish in 2010. It would have been a lot better if my plans for Cowal had not been washed out by the Dunoon monsoon in August. I managed only one bus-pass trip in the year but it was a good one, to Ben Lee on Skye in March.
Thanks to the Hall's 200th entrant, I enjoyed a boat trip to Orkney, Fair Isle and Shetland in late May and early June. The two outstanding days were trips to Fair Isle and Noss. I also had three visits to Ardgour, including the Strontian meeting, when I finally got up a hill with Bert Barnett. In July I savoured my first bivvy for some years whilst doing the Bonawe round and then polished off my island Grahams on Mull. A short holiday in the Yorkshire Dales in September allowed the Three Peaks to be climbed, then a long weekend on the Isle of Man, where all five were collected.
