Bunch of baglogs:

Dave Tyson (+23=903)

2015 continued the slow but steady progress to the Upper Hall. Highlights included a good bag at the Marhof dinner weekend at Ardfern and a hectic chase around Devon to pick off as much as possible, before a caving conference. I still have a few hills to do in England and Wales, which should keep me going between trips to Scotland.

It is a bit sad to be losing the magazine after all these years, it provides a link to the exploits of others who you may not see every year. It also has useful snippets of information on access etc, but I guess the hill-bagging website can provide some of these.

One thing which I do find is that it is now more common to meet others on pretty obscure hills - something that would not have happened 20 years ago when everyone was just bagging the Munros or Corbetts and the English and Welsh 600m hills. I think this is more than just a result of the publication of a few lists - there seems to be an increased camaraderie, which stems from the efforts of members of the group to organise events and boat trips together. Some of this spills over to other like-minded people met on hills and introduces new faces to the group. Long may this continue.
