Bunch of baglogs:

David Hughes (+20=1050)

2015 continued as before, with the emphasis more on long-distance paths rather than bagging Marilyns. However, two visits to the Brecon Beacons, a place that neither Linda nor I had visited previously, ensured that every hill we climbed was a new hill. All the big hills (and most of the smaller hills) were ascended, although Myarth was studiously avoided, despite its tree-topped top being visible from the cottage where we were staying. A round of Corn Du, Pen y Fan, Cribyn and Fan y Big from the south proved to be a great day out, but the traverse of Carmarthen Fan was even better - fewer people gave these hills a more remote and wilder feel. Getting to the car park at the head of the Sawdde valley felt like driving into the middle of nowhere, and successfully negotiating the pot-holed track and leaving with the car's suspension intact was a feat in itself.

A lot of our weekends and holidays were taken up with doing the Pennine Way (in sections). We had to take refuge in Greg's Hut whilst coming off Cross Fell during a hailstorm which left the ground white. We've now got as far as Hadrian's Wall and hope to complete it in 2016.
