Meet some new members:

Andrew Finnimore (760)

My interest in Marilyns began... after being told I had qualified for the HoF when I registered my Graham completion in June2013. I was totally ignorant of Marilyns before this. I suddenly had a new list of hills to tick off (many of which I had unknowingly climbed) and an ideal activity for someone newly retired like me. My target is to get into the Upper Hall.

My favourite Marilyns are... Liathach, favourite Corbetts - Beinn an Oir (Jura) and - Askival (Rum), favourite sub-600m - Cruach Scarba. I am passionate about islands - the remoter the better - so I am looking forward to getting to the likes of Canna, Foula and St Kilda - been there once already but never climbed to the top, duh.

My least favourite Marilyn is... Carnmenellis, up to my neck in thick gorse, brambles and bracken all on a boggy surface, for what seemed like hours before getting to the top. Only to find a tarmacked track, albeit private, coming up the other side, grrh.

Do I keep Marilyn bagging a secret? No, proud to be a Marilyn-bagger. Anyway, I have some far more embarrassing interests, e.g. stamp-collecting, jigsaws, not to mention my Scalextric set.

I... am hoping to climb to the top of some of the world's most interesting islands. I have already been up Mauna Kea, Hawaii - you can drive to the top - and Mount Teide, Tenerife. In 2014 I am planning to climb St Mary's Peak, Tristan da Cunha. Other targets are Mount Anglem, Stewart Island, New Zealand and Gunung Rinjani, Lombok.
