Bagging 17 in a year represents gluttony of Marilyns in my terms, blowing off the mountain top any continuing claim as the slowest Marilyn bagger still alive. (AD: DPQ appears to have assumed that title, with a total of -2 in the past three years.)
Seven were got properly in the course of two coast-to-coast walks: Knoydart to Aberdeen and Gretna to Berwick. One, Creagan na Beinne, was got the other proper way, by sleeping on it. Three more, Law Kneis, Cacra Hill and Turner Cleuch Law, came in the course of a fairly lengthy five-Marilyn day around Ettrick (the other two being rebags of The Wiss and Ward Law). For the remaining nine there is no excuse: simple day walks from cars parked in Perthshire.
