Baglogs:

Andrew Dempster (+19=860)

The highlights of 2011 were the publication of my '100 Classic Coastal Walks in Scotland' in May and a solo crossing of Scotland by the Southern Upland Way in September. I had hoped to glean a clutch of Marilyns on this two-week walk but only managed two, Hods Hill and Minch Moor. These were both climbed in atrociously wet and windy conditions - just par for the course really. The Southern Upland Way was part of an effort to acquaint myself more thoroughly with the area and in particular the Donalds and sub 2000 feet Marilyns. I now have just 21 Munros to go for a second completion - perhaps this year?
