Ninety march: Charlie Scott (+90=720)

I had a five-and-a-half month secondment to Portsmouth naval base in 2011 so reluctantly did St Boniface Down and Brighstone Down on the Isle of Wight. Both were truly dire, though I had been warned by Alan in the last Marhofn. Now that I am back working at Govan, accounting for building the nation's flagships, I'll let you readers decide which is the more exciting walk to work - past HMS Victory or through the Clyde pedestrian tunnel.

The most enjoyable long walks among the 80 Grahams I bagged in the year were the triumvirate of Ben Mor Coigach, Sgurr an Fhidleir and Beinn an Eoin in April during the drought; the ten-hour walk to An Cruachan and Carn nan Breabag from Camas Luinie; and from Loch Awe station to Beinn na Lus and Meall Garbh with a bivouac on the bealach between Glen Kinglass and Glen Strae in late July.

I like a good march when I am on hill business and my march of the year is the J Strauss II, Ninetta Marsch Op 447 which is on Marco Polo 8.223239.
