Baglogs:

Ann Bowker (1549) and Rowland Bowker (1544)

I think our greatest achievement in 2010 was escaping from prison. After climbing some Humps in Dorset, we found ourselves with a spare morning before taking the ferry to the Isle of Wight. We decided to take a look at The Verne, the summit of which is situated inside the prison on Portland Bill. Driving up we found that this road only goes to the prison. At the entrance was an archway with a red light shining. To our surprise it turned green, so we drove on to the visitors car park. Nobody was around so we quickly made the ten-minute ascent to the summit on top of a covered reservoir. Wondering if we would be let out, we drove down to the archway where the red light once again turned green.

Rowland is now on a total of 2471 Humps, having set himself the modest (?) target of 2500, just as he set himself a target of 1500 Marilyns long ago. Ann's Hump total is now up to 2545 despite having abandoned Hump bagging when she reached 2500. Nowadays she only goes up to accompany Rowland.
