I had already climbed the SubMarilyns Sail Chalmadale (in 2002) and Mynydd y Cwm (in 2008 on the way to Builth Wells) but have lost Raw Head, so my total increased by one without climbing any new Marilyns during the year. I did climb my four outstanding Lake District SubMarilyns, so Lundy Island awaits for an English completion of these. I also completed the Wainwright fells in November. I only had four left in September but had to earn some brownie points by attending our great-grandson's first birthday. I returned the weekend after the Cockermouth floods when many roads were closed. I ignored one 'path closed - bridge swept away' sign and found the footbridge had only moved 30 degrees and was still sturdy. To celebrate 50 years since my first Marilyn, I did a coast-to-coast walk picking up Jackson P30 tops on the way. With these included I had 152 new tops in the year, all in England.
