British Sea Power

Colin Brash (+72=1033)

I had planned to climb Conachair on St Kilda as my 1000th Marilyn at the end of July. Unfortunately, there was a force 5-6 storm predicted for the weekend, so Seamus from Seaharris advised against the trip. As a result, I had to make do with Clisham in the wet mist on 27 July. I was gutted at stumbling at the last hurdle after everything had gone like clockwork for six months of careful planning. Seamus emailed when I got home to tell me that he could not get to St Kilda for a fortnight afterwards, so I would have had no chance even if I had had a few days to spare. I might try Conachair this year but it will not be the same as doing it for my 1000th.
