Baglog: Tony Deall (+49=731)

One aspiration for the year was realised when breaching the 700 barrier on Torridon's Sgurr Dubh in May. A magnificent spell of weather while in Kinlochewe enabled me to visit a clutch of remote and wild Corbetts such as Beinn Lair, Carn Ban and the Beinn Deargs. Despite the generally poor weather last year we were fortunate to hit a brief window of fine weather on Mull in November while on the hunt for Grahams. A rapid foray from there to Kinloch Hourn also allowed final resolution of the Buidhe Bheinn / Sgurr a'Bhac Chaolais conundrum. A Corbett completion in 2009 is looming, with only five unaccounted for, as is an English completion, though considerable travelling will be required to stumble over the line. And then there is Wales...
