Baglogs: Lower Tiers:

Baglog: Tony Deall (+68=682)

Thanks to several Scottish trips my Corbett total is now nudging 200, with 25 added in the year. The highlight was undoubtedly a fantastic August day on Torridon's Beinn Dearg with Peter Malone, just before surveying confirmed its Corbett status. England was not neglected, with a similar increase to 148 making a completion here considerably nearer. These hills are obviously significantly easier than Corbetts but made for several satisfying days, including a pleasant trip to the Isle of Wight. The flip side saw me wandering around Crowborough trying to decide which wheelie bin was hiding the Marilyn. Unfortunately Wales seems rather more difficult for me to access than the far side of the moon. I must try and improve the rather pathetic current running total of 14. Next year I hope to crash through the 700 barrier and creep ever closer to a Corbett completion.
