Baglog: Alex Kelso (+71=679)

I'm still doing the HUGHS, Gs, Cs and Ms all in parallel (in a manner of speaking). 2006 was a mopping-up year, trying to finish all the loose 'singles' dotted around the country. This resulted in significant mileage on my beloved Subara Impreza, which I reluctantly changed for something a little more economical. Highlights from 2006:

• Beinn a'Mhuinidh (14A), 'curling' with stones on the frozen lochans and taking photos.
• Sgurr Gaorsaic, Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan and Mullach na Dheiragain on a fun day in June from Glomach chasm, for the length, solitude and variety.
• Beinn a'Bhuird and Ben Avon from Tomintoul; a day of friendship and broken bikes.
• Sgurr na Ciche, because it was long overdue and lived up to the hype.

Beinn Ruadh (19C) however was a little shite, if you descend the Dempster route in August heather with the ants! Do it from the north via the forest track and the ridge - it's longer, but a lot more fun. That's a minor gripe - otherwise none.
