I'm still doing the HUGHS, Gs, Cs and Ms all in parallel (in a manner of speaking). 2006 was a mopping-up year, trying to finish all the loose 'singles' dotted around the country. This resulted in significant mileage on my beloved Subara Impreza, which I reluctantly changed for something a little more economical. Highlights from 2006:
Beinn Ruadh (19C) however was a little shite, if you descend the Dempster route in August heather with the ants! Do it from the north via the forest track and the ridge - it's longer, but a lot more fun. That's a minor gripe - otherwise none.
