Andy Hyams: The surrounding forest is undergoing extensive felling. It is full of vehicles, debris and 'path closed' or diversion signs. The easiest way to the top was to go straight up to the ridge from the car park, but even this involved some clambering over debris. I suspect more felling will take place as initial tracks have now been cut. The summit itself is a small cairn amongst some (as yet untouched) trees. It's not too hard to find as I just kept walking upwards, but I was sufficiently disoriented to need a bearing to get back down.
