Obscure no more:

Steve Harris, Cumbria (633)

I moved to Cumbria in 1977 but only did the occasional bit of walking until I started on the Wainwrights in 1985. After that it was the 2000-footers in England and the Southern Uplands, and then in Wales. Halfway through those I found a copy of RHB in a local bookshop and started the Marilyns in 1997, having already done 120. Apart from having finished England and Wales (my last one really was Snowdon), I've clocked up a rather pathetic total of Munros and Corbetts, although in my defence I am doing all the M, C and G tops as well, which does slow things down a bit. As well as increasing those Munro and Corbett totals, I must get across to the Isle of Man, as I've seen it every day (weather permitting) for the past 25 years, from a certain nuclear reprocessing plant in West Cumbria. In September 2003 I finished the English Marilyns on Cleeve Hill (39) and finally made 600 in June 2004 on Knock Hill (21A) to claim my 15 minutes of fame.
