Not a great total for the year, but the 37 new hills provided some memorable days (not all for the right reasons).
Easiest: Cairn Pat (27C) on a glorious spring afternoon after an earlier flog up Beneraird. Yr Arwydd (30A) comes a close second, while Billinge Hill (36) was also desperately easy.
Hardest: In terms of life-threatening experiences, trying to climb up the west face of Ben Shieldaig (13B) above the village, in one of the many storms at the end of December. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Toughest vegetation: The south slopes (though the word 'slope' doesn't do the gradient justice) of Deadh Choimhead (19A). I never knew that trees could grow on such steep ground in such density.
Most memorable day: A traverse of Foinaven, Meall Horn and Arkle with a good hill-running buddy, on a September day that started misty and just got better and better. I practically destroyed a pair of fell-running shoes on the rough ground, but it was worth it.
