Baglogs:

Brian Edridge (+110=913)

The Western Isles of Scotland enjoyed a remarkable summer of good weather while other parts of the country suffered exceptional amounts of rainfall and flooding. Early season conditions varied dramatically - on one occasion sweltering heat in the afternoon with a heavy hailstorm 36 hours later. Sailing for much of the summer, I was able to bag 34 island hills including my last island Grahams, with mist on only a couple of summits. Fine weather predominated for my mainland outings and good progress was made on both Grahams, largely in the north-west Highlands, and sub 2000ft hills, mostly in the Southern Uplands. I may not manage to be so active on the hills in 2013 and cannot expect the same benign weather, but hope to end the year in a position to complete the Grahams and join the Upper Hall in 2014.
