The year 2012 was a slower one than 2011 and 2010, although I did climb a few more repeat Munros than in previous years. The main reason for the slowdown was my determination not to be sidetracked from the completion of the worldwide three arc-second digital elevation model. This was completed in November 2012 and can now be downloaded from viewfinderpanoramas.org
I hope that in 2013 I will reach more new summits and also find more time for applications of the above-mentioned DEM, most notably panoramas and the creation and checking of hill lists.
Thanks to Mark Trengove and Alison Fox for accompanying me on the hills from time to time, without which I would have slowed down even more, possibly to the serious detriment of my physical fitness.
