My interest in Marilyns began... because we have friends who are avid tickers and although I had vowed never to start ticking again, well it just crept up on us. Really think it is great fun as well as pretty challenging.
My favourite Marilyns are... all of them. I just love being out on the hills and what appeals about Marilyns is how varied they are and how you can get into so many nooks and crannies around the country which otherwise you would not experience. Reaching the summit of the most remote hills always brings a sense of satisfaction.
My least favourite Marilyn are... those where there is navigation in deep forest or, perhaps even worse, felled forest which has not been cleared and has snow on top of that.
Do I keep Marilyn bagging a secret? No, certainly do not keep it a secret, but lots of friends just think I am a bit mad.
