Baglogs:

Slow but ticking: Roger Squires (+132=1086)

A dodgy knee MOT in January revealed that I was in mortal danger for other reasons than venturing into remote areas. This cast a shadow on the year's hill bagging, though great NHS treatment has hopefully saved the situation.

Grahams were the prime target but we have made the usual mistake of leaving the least accessible till last, so many still remain for 2012. Beinn nan Lus and Meall Garbh were well worth the hard cycling along Loch Etive and an overnight camp. Beinn Mhor capped some inspiring walks in the Uists, but the most exciting single ascent was Trallval in the Rum Cuillin.

Being caught on the summit of Carn na Breabaig by a sudden and violent thunderstorm was the scariest by a mile. Remote and awkward Meith Bheinn was our longest day. As the days shortened, we lowered our sights, even returning to England, and enjoyed a good haul of Marilyns. Finally, qualifying for the Upper Hall on Craiglee via Rig of the Jarkness was another unforgettable outing.
