The highlight of my year was completing my second round of Munros on Ben More, Mull, on 2 June 2010. After Mull we headed north for the Marilyn baggers' weekend at Ullapool, followed by a very enjoyable day on Stac Pollaidh. Our Marilyn bagging during the year ranged from the Isle of Wight in March to northern Scotland in June and south-east England in December. I made progress with remote Corbetts, completing Ben Aden and Sgurr a'Choire-bheithe in August, whilst staying at The Stable at Barrisdale. This small cottage is much more comfortable than the bothy next door. My current target is to get to 999 by the Skye weekend and to ascend Ben Dearg, south of The Storr, on Saturday 4 June, if the weather is good. It will be something lower if the weather is awful.
