The highlight of the year was a bothy trip to Glen Pean, from where I climbed An Stac with a couple of friends. The weather was reasonable and I was very impressed with the upper reaches of the Glen; very steep sided and unlike anywhere else I have been to in Scotland.

The worst day was an attempt on Carn Fiaclach by Loch Affric in September. The weather was merely foul and the undergrowth dripping up to chest height. I ended up doing a complete clockwise traverse of the hill without finding a sensible way to the top. It was a good walk though and I shall return.

In between doing 12 new Grahams there have been the usual repeat Munros and Corbetts and a few Borders hills, as well as a week's walking in Andorra. I intend to complete the Grahams this year, as I only have five left to climb, and I also plan to help various friends with their Corbett lists.
