Baglogs: Lower Tiers:

Baglog: Harrold Thomson (+8=669)

Our wanderings in 2008 ranged from Torridon to the lowly Pibble Hill, with a fair number of repeat Corbetts (for me but not for my wife, Connie). The highlight has to be a gloriously sunny day in June, on Meall a'Ghiubhais (13A), when it seemed that most of the upper mountain was carpeted with pink flowers - wild azalea, thrift and moss campion. On reaching the summit, I was diplomatically asked what age I was by one of a trio of men. My answer gave more hope for future hillgoing to one of the trio, who had reached the venerable age of 60. I think I made his day!

To partly offset carbon footprints, two solo day bagging trips by free bus from Glasgow to Glencoe and to Biggar were undertaken, which should please Barbara Jones - thanks for the compliment anyway, Barbara (Marhofn 183, p13).
