The highlight of 2006 was definitely on 1 Jan when we climbed Ruadh Stac on Skye from the idyllic haven of Camasunary. With afternoon sun bathing this wonderful little peak and everything else in cloud, we spent a dreamy hour on the summit for an inspiring start to the year. A trip to Greenland in August was a revelation - a virgin peak-bagger's paradise.
