Honey takes Quinn quiz crown

Another small entry for the quiz in Marhofn 106, with Gary Honey stepping up from silver to gold with 9/10 correct, failing to score more for Sgor Mor. Second was Peter Ridges with 7, third Jon Foote with 6, after losing two points for a late entry. Gary wins a copy of the excellent CD 'Severed From The Land' by 2003 quiz winner Daniel Patrick Quinn, featuring Ettrick Pen and Nine Standards Rigg. All three receive a CD with the ten tracks featured in 2003. Answers:

This year's quiz returns to a musical theme and offers a chance to test your Googling skills. Below are listed 20 recording artists (singers, musicians or obscure groups) who have each named an album or a track after one of the world's well-known MegaMarilyns (aka Ultras). Your task is to pair the artists and name the mountain that links them. For example, the Macc Lads and Zion Train both recorded a track called Ben Nevis, so they would be a pair, except that Ben Nevis is not one of the Ultras. In just one title, 'Mount' is omitted, but all other tracks do seem to refer to the mountain.

Alan Parsons Mark Hunton
Anthony Phillips Miles Davis
Autodidact Obsolete vs Delete
Beth Orton Quintessence
Church Of Betty Rick Wakeman
Cole Marquis Tangerine Dream
Diggers Teardrop Explodes
Gawker Slowdown Teenage Fanclub
Karunesh This Mortal Coil
Lutricia McNeal Vienna Teng

Tie break: Name this Scottish Marilyn (nearest gridref wins):
