2015 was my most successful year for Marilyns so far. Of the 47 bagged, 38 were Scottish including four Corbetts and 26 Grahams. This was aided by an excellent trip up to Helmsdale at Easter with Graham and Tove Illing, and a trip to Kilmonivaig in May where I summited three of my outstanding Corbetts. Unfortunately, the weather hindered my plans to extend the week's holiday and travel up to Fisherfield to complete my two remaining Corbetts up there.
My 750th Marilyn was reached on Dumyat near Stirling on a rainy day in September, and my 100th English Marilyn was Burnhope Seat in October. With only four Corbetts and three English 600-900m hills remaining, the aim for 2016 is to concentrate on completing all except one of the Corbetts, to complete the English 600m+ hills and make progress on my 77 remaining Grahams.
