2013 proved to be as bad as 2012 for Marilyn bagging; a last-minute trip down to south Wales in late December pulled the bag total up to seven, the same as 2012. The first half of the year saw zero Marilyn activity, but the Hump count progressed significantly. I had hoped to make amends when I went up for the St Kilda trips, but the poor weather put paid to that venture.
A late flurry of activity saw a trip over to Bardsey and the bagging of more south Wales Marilyns, but at year end there were still three to do. Hopefully 2014 will see a return to more respectable bagging figures and maybe the weather will be kind for another attempt at St Kilda.
