The year marked my fiftieth birthday and completion of the Grahams, ten years after the Corbetts in 2003, finishing with a pleasant day on Arran's Beinn Bharrain with Martina, my wife. I left some tough Grahams to near the end, including boggy trudges up the hills around Dunoon and a big wet day on An Stac and Meith Bheinn, south of Loch Morar. That said, the Grahams have been an incredible, tough little adventure over the years and I recommend them.
A highlight of the Marilyn year was camping on the summit of Suilven, at Easter, in frosty wintry conditions.
