No particular order or rationale to the 2013 hills, so no change there. Trips to the Lake District and Cairngorm Corbetts featured prominently early in the year. Easter saw a repeat visit to Mull and included a very wintry ascent of Beinn Talaidh. Ailsa Craig was visited in June on a bright but cold day which was probably the most enjoyable trip of the year. A Wester Ross based fortnight in July saw various Corbetts and Grahams done including an enjoyable traverse of Meall Horn, Sabhal Bheag and Meallan Liath Coire Mhic Dhughaill.

A wintry ascent of Beinn Loinne in November was also memorable. Not so much done in the last few months of the year when wet and windy weather seemed to be a feature of the few days I had free to potentially get out. Must be an age thing, but my tolerance for going out on the hills in poor weather seems to have significantly decreased.

Plans for 2014 - finish the handful of unvisited Corbetts south of the Great Glen and possibly do a few more repeat Munros, with as yet unvisited Munro Tops.
