David McSporran (660)

My interest in Marilyns began... in the same way that the Corbetts attracted my attention when I was coming to the end of my Munro round and ditto for the Grahams. Towards the end of my Graham round, the Marilyns seem the next obvious step to get that unclimbed hill fix.

My favourite Marilyns are... the craggy ones in the north-west of Scotland. The Marilyns I have done on Jura, Harris, Rum, Skye and Mull stand out for me as I have been lucky enough to have done them in fantastic weather.

My least favourite Marilyns are... some of the more rounded sub-600m Marilyns south of the central belt of Scotland which have failed to inspire.

Do I keep Marilyn bagging a secret? As my main focus at the moment is trying to finish my Graham round - I have got 37 left - that will remain a good cover story for a few months.

I... have a day job as an electronics consultant.
