I'm spending a year with VSO in India following my year in Cameroon, so opportunities for climbing Marilyns have been limited. But I'm based in Siliguri in north Bengal, so by way of compensation I can look out and see the dawn sun on Kangchenjunga (well, I did once, it's been hazy ever since). I was in the UK for a couple of months between Cameroon and India and so added to a few to my total, including a trip around the M25 to revisit Botley Hill. I should have trusted my instincts and visited the mast when I was there the first time.
