Baglogs:

Alison Fox (+57=988)

Fifty of the 57 Marilyns were climbed before the end of July; I guess neck-high bracken and the stalking season has an impact on bagging later in the year. The highlight was St Kilda, a trip made extra special because it almost did not happen due to the weather. Conachair was one of 19 Marilyns climbed in a ten-day holiday in the Western Isles. I was one of the participants in the five-islands-in-an-evening tour of the Bishop Isles before going north to savour the delights of Eriskay and the Uists. The Shiant Islands gave a much cherished summit, if only because the ascent seemed so tricky. I am sure there must be an easier way up this than the one I found. It was a year of meeting other Marilyn baggers, both on this trip and on Graham Illing's trip to Scalpay. Thanks for the company and the kind offers of transport.
