Baglogs: Hip Op Generation:

Hoglog: Hamish Brown (1018)

There was an element of sod's law in the two new hills to tick in 2005. On the 2004 TGO Challenge coast-to-coast walk, I usefully ticked several hills in the west, and later walked down the track under Meall Chomraidh. I even had a picnic and paddle by the bridge. Had I known... And as for Arnside Knott, Jill and I drove round it filling in time before visiting someone at Milnthorpe when their business opened. Had we known... So I could have reached 1000 sooner, and Jill her 600th one earlier. But then we enjoyed what we had.

AD: In 2005 Don became the first person for three years to pass 1500 Marilyns. With Ann Bowker turning 70 in 2006, this means that the hip op generation currently occupy half the seats in the front row of the Hall, with two more in the 1400s.
