Baglogs:

Baglog: Stewart Logan (+72=1083)

Not a very productive year for several reasons. A daughter got married in early spring and moved into a new house which had a garden and lots of minor internal jobs to see to. As well as that, I have ticked all the hills this side of the Great Glen and this side of Yorkshire, and I had few opportunities to string together enough days to get further afield.

Highlight of the year was probably arriving in the kilt at the trig on Cliffe Hill golf course to be asked by two golfers, in a pleasant non-aggressive way, what I was doing there. I explained that this was one of England's 'mountains' south of the Thames. One of them said that that was fantastic and he would have to let the secretary know.

I went on the usual end-of-year week with the Hamish Brown gang, this year to Mull. The ground was so saturated that I climbed all my hills (admittedly none over 600m) in wellingtons. The papers would have made a meal of that if I had come a cropper. My two immediate targets are to reach 1000 Scottish Marilyns and to reach 1000 solo. The latter is only at 820 so I have a long way to go.
