I was delighted to finish the Corbetts on Ben Loyal on 31 May 2003, although disorganised enough to miss the lunar eclipse the night before. The highlight though was an Easter backpacking trip round the Knoydart Corbetts and Munros in sweltering heat, the main danger being heather fires on the hillside. Most of my best trips have been multi-day camping ones, preferably pitching on summits. I aim to continue this on Munros and Grahams.
