Annual reports M-W:

Annual report: Jimmy White

I managed to reach my target of 621 (my pass-mark of 40% of Marilyns) and to spend a weekend in Wales, although the Isle of Man is still virgin walking territory to me. Coincidentally, I have completed 621 Dumgoynes, with 700 likely by the year end. A few walks from 2002:

Tryfan, March
Tryfan clear of snow, but the Glyders completely iced up. Couldn't believe the number of walkers doing the round.
Rum, April
Superb, clear sunny weather and a romp over the Cuillin, with a moonlit return to Kinloch. Not a soul to be seen.
Common Hill (27A), August
Plenty of company on this hill - at least two dozen large windmills churning away.
Bishop Wilton Wold (37), September
This 'ascent' was the culmination of 65th birthday celebrations near York.
Deuchary Hill (6B), December
Don't believe the recent Landranger map. It shows a complete skirt or sitkas, but I saw none, not even plantings on the south side of the hill, nor on the faint path from NO036479 to the trig point perched on a large boulder on the sharp summit.
