The latest version of the list of 206 SubMarilyns is dated January 1999, but the only significant changes from the July 1997 version (which may have been printed without a date) concern the promotion of Swyre Head and Nine Barrow Down to Marilyns, and the demotion of Abberley Hill and Milk Hill back to SubMarilyns, as detailed in the 1999 RHB Update.

Those with an older version of the list might wish to note that Crown Tegleaze (42) has been renamed Littleton Down so that it sounds more like a hill and less like a brand of crockery.
Rob Woodall reports that Beinn Gharbh (10D), which has a drop of 149m, is 'certainly fairly lumpy on top' and so he wonders whether the 896m spot height really is the highest point... Apparently it is a 'very fine hill indeed'.
At least one of the SubMarilyns may be awaiting a first ascent: The Bowkers report that on the 'apparently trivial' Cnoc na Carraige (19C) they got to within 200 metres of the top and were faced with impenetrable trees: 'Next time we shall go armed with a machete and chain saw, a long string for measuring when we have gone far enough, a full day to spare and, most important, we must be in truly masochistic mood.'
